Las Hoces del Cabriel Natural Reserve
Right on the border between Castilla-La Mancha and the Valencian Community is the Hoces del Cabriel Natural Reserve. Next to the Contreras reservoir, and taking advantage of the descent of the Cabriel River, it is a unique natural area for visitors.

From Minglanilla you can access the natural area of the Hoces del Cabriel, a winding route of this river between narrow walls, rocky outcrops and areas of Mediterranean forest. With a little luck you will enjoy the fauna that populates this natural space: mountain goats, otters, golden eagles... And if you want some advice, take the old road that borders the river from the reservoir to the place of Los Cuchillos, whichthey owe their name to some large rocks with this shape.
